BRING YOUR BEST IDEAS TO THE 60TH NJAC ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Businesses with ideas on how government can cut costs and share services are invited to conduct seminars for county officials and exhibit at the 60th NJAC Annual Conference in Atlantic City.
“The NJAC Conference is the biggest educational event on the calendar for county officials,” said Celeste Carpiano, the organization’s executive director. “It attracts hundreds of elected and appointed county and state officials who are looking for ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs.”
Participants in the NJAC Conference have included governors, cabinet members, legislators, county freeholders, county administrators, finance officers, engineers, shared service coordinators, public information officers and experts in various fields such as energy and transportation.
This year, the NJAC Annual Conference will be hosted from June 15 through June 18 at Bally’s Park Place Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City. It features dozens of seminars approved by the NJ Department of Community Affairs for continuing education credits. It also features an exhibit hall where county officials can learn about new products, services, technologies and systems that can help them govern better.
“Counties are facing another very difficult budget year, and our members are searching for more efficient and effective means to deliver services,” said Carpiano. “They’ll be looking for answers from among the state, county and business representatives that participate in the NJAC Annual Conference.”
Information and registration forms for the conference can be found on the NJAC website at www.njac.org.
